Positioning the unit for best results:
The unit needs to be placed upright in the cockpit with the best possible view of the sky.
The ideal place is on the windscreen mounted with the optional suction cup mount.
Please also note that the heating elements found in the windscreens of larger aircraft types can interfere with the GPS signal and in this case it may be necessary to place the unit in one of the side windows in the cockpit or if available, in the brow window.
The unit may need to be moved around a little to achieve best results.
